I know, I'm a fucking jerk.
But considering we JUST read him, and I JUST called his agent to make the official offer and she was at lunch (everyone in Hollywood lunches from 1-3), I don't think I should announce it before I tell her what the offer is.
This guy is a well known actor, has worked with some of the biggest directors in Hollywood, and I am really excited to get him. He's not what I had in mind physically for SlingBlade, but he nailed the most important part of the character (the emotional life and the eyes), and I think he can inhabit the character and make it come alive on the screen.
I know, this post is fucking annoying, but I am so excited about this I had to put something up.
